OCON participated in the 18th 'Korea Character Licensing Fair (KCLF) 2019' held in COEX, Seoul, Korea from July 17 to 21, 2019 and achieved various achievements. KCLF 2019 hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister, Park Yang-woo), Korea Creative Content Agency (led by Kim Young-joon) and COEX, is the largest character licensing fair in Asia and attracts more than 120,000 people every year. More than 2500 buyers from both domestic and foreign countries and more than 130,000 visitors visited this year. OCON promoted its IPs such as ‘Little Hero Super Z’ which started broadcasting at EBS in 2018, ‘Pororo’ (movie film) and ‘The gift Dibo’. Especially, ‘Little Hero Super Z’ which is OCON’s new animation TV series, showed a variety of licensed products including toys, food, drugstore supplies, etc. During the event, in addition, OCON signed MOU with Fifth Journey, the global IP company, which is the official partner of major Hollywood companies such as Legendary, Universal, MGM and LIONSGATE, and have concluded a contract with Indonesian broadcaster RTV for 'Little Hero Super Jack'. OCON also held meetings with more than 30 domestic companies during the event OCON expects that the contracts and business alliances with various companies will take place in the second half of 2019.
